SAT Words College

Increase your vocabulary and get prepared to pass your SAT exams and other similar tests. SAT Words College is a comprehensive self-training tool that helps you learn and practice key words that commonly appear on SAT college admission tests in the US. It was designed to be used by teachers, students and anyone interested in improving their vocabulary. It allows you to take both a pretest and a posttest, so that you can check your progress.

The program's user interface is very colorful and eye-catching. It was designed to work with the 800x600 resolution, and if this is the configuration of your screen you will be able to enjoy it in its full glory using the full-screen effect. The first time you run the program, you are asked to input your student ID (or any 6-8 digit identifier in case you are not a student) and your full name. After that, you are taken to the main menu, which gives you access to all the sections of the program.

The main options on this menu are - Scores, Objectives, Pretest, Build Your Lexicon, and Posttest. Normally, you are supposed to take a “Pretest” before you learn the lessons that you can find in the "Build Your Lexicon" section. After reading those lessons, you can then take the "Posttest", so that you can assess your progress very accurately. All your scores are registered, and you can check them in the "Scores" section. This process should be repeated with all the units that come with the program – a total of six units with six parts each. more
